This is what I know about adding subtracting integers:
Absolute value is when you keep the symbol(+ and -)of the larger number than the other number and it would give you an idea of what the would be.
Adding negative integer to another negative integer are like adding positive integer to another positive integer but using negative integers.
Adding positive integer to a negative integer are like subtracting a positive integer to another positive integer but using addition symbol than a subtraction symbol.
Subtracting a positive integer to a negative integer are like adding a positive integer to another positive integer but using a subtraction symbol than a addition symbol.
Subtracting a negative to another negative integer are like subtracting a positive integer to a positive integer but using negative integers.
