This is what i know about adding and subtracting integers.
- Adding a positive to a negative is like making the absolute value of the negative smaller or sometimes turning it into a positive answer.
- Adding a negative to a positive is like subtracting the absolute value of the negative from the positive.
- Subtracting a positive from a negative is making the absolute value of the negative larger.
- Subtracting a negative from a positive is making the positive larger by the absolute value of the negative.
